I am a PhD candidate in family therapy at Texas Woman's University, and hold a master's degree in marriage and family therapy. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist associate, licensed chemical dependency counselor intern, and certified hypnotherapist. My orientation is psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and existential.
Specifically, my areas of focus are depression and mourning, self identity, self esteem and body image, existential crises, spirituality, aging and loss; family grief and care giving stress, divorce, separation, and single parents; domestic abuse and pregnancy issues, marital and premarital, blended family units, diverse relationships, and elderly concerns.
I work with all ages as well as from any social dynamic and cultural background. I do try and keep my rates comparatively affordable, and offer payment plan and sliding scale options. I am an out of network provider; which means I will give you a receipt in which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
